IN URGENT NEED OF HELP? ''The show must go on'' is one of the most fundamental ground rules of the entertainment industry. This site and my work with The Stage, Young Performer and with my private clients is dedicated to helping as many people as possible achieve this goal, no matter what challenges and obstacles they face. You'll find links to lots of practical career information, useful books and resources and trial advice sessions to see how we can work with your career orientated goals and challenges in other sections of this site However, I know from personal experience that in what can be a very lonely business, sometimes it is the most basic emotional, financial and health problems which seem to turn up just when we are at our lowest, and it can feel like we are facing a crisis alone with nobody to turn to. If this is where you or a friend is right now, take it from me, the most sensible thing you can do is get help. The organisations listed below are ready and waiting to provide confidential advice and support, usually free of charge and with whatever problem you are currently going through, and whether or not you are an A-Lister or a beginner (and take it from me, when trouble hits fame and fortune are no subsitute for a listening ear). I intend to keep this list updated so please let me know of any organisations that have proved helpful to you.
